Telework during COVID-19: exposing ableism in U.S. higher education

Abelism, like the many other ‘isms,’ pervades rules and norms within U.S. higher education system. Through a first person narrative, this article explores one person’s perspective experience with accommodation process - first, as without dis/ability serving an Americans Dis/abilities coordinator then faculty member dis/ability. It also documents miraculous ability to institute telework accommodations weeks when people dis/abilities needed it due COVID-19 consequently exposes form of ableism in post-secondary educational The concludes call anti-ableism intersectional activism expand education.
